You would think I’d have something special for my 100th geek craft… WELL I DO!  It’s a pretty snazzy TARDIS quilt by EHyde.

I’ve mentioned a few times who enamored I am with the idea of quilting. If I could stitch worth a damn, I’d totally be all over this craft.

Whovians should get a kick out of this week’s edition: A Tardis made using a 3D printer by r/doctorwho.

At this point I don’t know much about this beyond that it’s pretty awesome. Someday I’ll get myself a rep-rap built so I can make things like this. Someday.

You like Dr. Who, right? Of course you do. In which case, this tutorial on how to create your very own Weeping Angel Tree Topper written by Cynthia of Creative Crossing is just the thing for you.

This is just the thing to creepy up your tree for the holidays.

As we get closer to Halloween, I figured a few Halloween themed crafts might be in order.  This week I’ve got a Dalek Pumpkin tutorial by Windell for you Doctor Who fans.

Quite a nifty little pumpkin project, and uses a lot of bits you probably already have around the house.

I freely admit it, I enjoy Dalek Crafts.  This Pot by jackielantern is no exception.

It’s handmade from clay wrapped around an inverted pot then glazed and fired.  I wouldn’t mind having one of these to plant my African Violets in.  I couldn’t plant my peppers in one of those, though.  They need something that’s bigger on the inside.

This week’s geek craft is a Tardis shawl even the Doctor would look good in, by Kate Atherley.

Now, I can’t wear shawls, mostly because they clash with my style, but I’d be willing to add the Tardis pattern to a scarf and wear that.  If only I knew how to knit.

This week’s geek craft is a Dalek Dress by somevelvetmorning that has been making it’s rounds on the internet.

This is really cool and kinda makes me wish I was a woman just so I could make one and wear it.  I’d try wearing it as I am now, but I’ve never had the hips that could pull off gowns.

This week’s geek craft is geek crafting taken to the extreme.  I give you Project Dalek.

The site is a resource for building all things Dalek. Direct reproductions, scale models, CG renderings, the works. They even have a set of plans for reproducing 11 different versions of the Dalek. This is some serious dedication. You have to join the forums in order to get access to the plans, but that’s not a huge deal and I’m sure it helps them limit their bandwidth costs.

If you’re passionate about Dr. Who then you definitely need to check out this site. Even if you like Dalek’s in passing the reproduction gallery on the site is good for a few minutes of enjoyment.

This week’s geek craft was pointed out to me by EclecticBlue of EclecticMamma.com (over there on the right in my blogroll). It’s a set of extremely awesome Crocheted Dr. Whos by Ms. Rin!

Oh sweet Timelords!

She’s got closeup pictures of all of them if you follow the above link.

Sadly there are no patterns, but… HOLY CRAP WANT!

This week’s geek craft is a nifty Tardis Cat Playpen.

Not a lot to say about this other than to stare in stunned awe. I wish to build one of these.
