This week I’m bringing you a different flavor of geek with some ECG Cross Stitch by Rikrax.

Since I work in the medical field, this little cross-stitch project pleases me. In fact, I know a cardiologist who would love one. Guess I should go see if I can find my cross-stitch stuff*.

*I’m almost positive it’s somewhere in my house!

This week’s geek craft is an awesome cross-stitch piece done by Servotron.

I am in awe. Especially since it apparently only took 4 months to put together. I’ve got a eight inch cross-stitch eagle that’s taken me more than 15 years to do.

This week’s geek craft is a Pokémon cross-stitch put together by inkdnjabd over on the Spritestitch forums.

All I can say about this is wow!

This must have taken a long time to do, I certainly wouldn’t have the patience to stitch it. What is even cooler, is that from bottom to top the Pokémon are in Pokédex order. That tickles my geek.

EDIT: As requested by my sister, Lyle, I dug around on the sprite-stitch forums for the pattern, which I found here: Epic Pokémon Pattern.

If you look at the first post you’ll see an attachment labeled “Pokemon Sampler4.sth” which can be opened with the free cross-stitch conversion and plotting program KGChart (You’ll want the LE version, as that’s the free one. Awesome program by the way, I used it for Perler beads a few times.). Otherwise there is also a PDF of the design which is black and white symbols broken into 30 panels.
